Romans 8:1-4  There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in

Christ Jesus.(1)  2 For the law of the Spirit of life has set you(1 free in

Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death.  3 For God has done what the

law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the

likeness of sinful flesh and for sin,(1 )he condemned sin in the flesh,  4

in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us,

who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Romans 8:11  If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in

you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your

mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

1 John 4:4   Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for

he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

James 4:7  Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will

flee from you.

Luke 4:9-12  And he took him to Jerusalem and set him on the pinnacle of the

temple and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from

here,  10 for it is written, “‘ He will command his angels concerning you,

to guard you,’  11 and “‘On their hands they will bear you up, lest you

strike your foot against a stone.'”  12 And Jesus answered him, “It is said,

‘You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.'”

Ephesians 6:10-18  Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his

might.  11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand

against the schemes of the devil.  12 For we do not wrestle against flesh

and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the

cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of

evil in the heavenly places.  13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God,

that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to

stand firm.  14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and

having put on the breastplate of righteousness,  15 and, as shoes for your

feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace.  16 In all

circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all

the flaming darts of the evil one;  17 and take the helmet of salvation, and

the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God,  18 praying at all times

in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with

all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,

1 Peter 5:7-10  casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

8 Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like

a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.  9 Resist him, firm in your

faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by

your brotherhood throughout the world.  10 And after you have suffered a

little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory

in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.

Romans 8:26-39  Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not

know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us

with groanings too deep for words.  27 And he who searches hearts knows what

is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints

according to the will of God.  28 And we know that for those who love God

all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his

purpose.  29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed

to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many

brothers.  30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom

he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be

against us?  32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all,

how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?  33 Who shall

bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.  34 Who is to

condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died – more than that, who was raised –

who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.  35 Who

shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress,

or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?  36 As it is

written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are

regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”  37 No, in all these things we are

more than conquerors through him who loved us.  38 For I am sure that

neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things

to come, nor powers,  39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all

creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus

our Lord.

Psalm 91:1-16  He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in

the shadow of the Almighty.  2 I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my

fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”  3 For he will deliver you from the

snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence.  4 He will cover you

with his pinions, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness

is a shield and buckler.  5 You will not fear the terror of the night, nor

the arrow that flies by day,  6 nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness,

nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.  7 A thousand may fall at your

side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.  8 You

will only look with your eyes and see the recompense of the wicked.  9

Because you have made the LORD your dwelling place – the Most High, who is

my refuge-  10 no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near

your tent.  11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in

all your ways.  12 On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike

your foot against a stone.  13 You will tread on the lion and the adder; the

young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.  14 “Because he holds

fast to me in love, I will deliver him; I will protect him, because he knows

my name.  15 When he calls to me, I will answer him; I will be with him in

trouble; I will rescue him and honor him.  16 With long life I will satisfy

him and show him my salvation.”

Deuteronomy 31:8   It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you;

he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

John 14:27  Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world

gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be

Isaiah 41:8-10  But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the

offspring of Abraham, my friend;  9 you whom I took from the ends of the

earth, and called from its farthest corners, saying to you, “You are my

servant, I have chosen you and not cast you off”;  10 fear not, for I am

with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will

help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Matthew 28:20  And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Isaiah 26:3-4  You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you,

because he trusts in you.  4 Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is

an everlasting rock.

Philippians 4:6-8  do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by

prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to

God.  7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard

your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  8 Finally, brothers, whatever

is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever

is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is

anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
